Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance carrier prior to your appointment to see if you will be covered and by how much. For any services or visits not covered, payment is due at the time service is rendered unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan but this must be done prior to the actual procedure. For your convenience we accept all major credit cards, Care Credit and Chase. If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at 717-657-1001. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.
We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid is your responsibility. Your prompt remittance is appreciated.
We know that many of our patients have fears about dentistry. We do not try to minimize your concerns, but rather we will listen carefully as you relate any apprehension that you may have.
We have many helpful hints and suggestions to make the dental procedures go more smoothly. Additionally, we often use laughing gas to help our more anxious patients.
Patients who do not have regular dental care may develop serious dental problems over time. Naturally, we may express concern for your dental health, but you don't have to worry that we'll try to make you feel guilty about it. We're here to help, not to criticize or judge. We believe everyone deserves to have a healthy mouth and a beautiful smile regardless of their circumstances. Give us a chance to show you that good dental care can be a positive experience.
Typically your first visit will include a cleaning and exam (this is recommended, but not required). After your exam Dr. Dietman will sit down and review with you a comprehensive plan for your dental health. Depending on the condition of your mouth, his recommendation could be as simple as regularly scheduled cleanings (1-2 times a year), to something more involved such as Invisalign braces to give you a healthier, longer lasting smile. Whatever the case may be, rest assured you will not be pressured with "scare tactics" to get you or your family to consent to unnecessary and possibly costly dental care. At Bruce Dietman Family Dentistry we only recommend what's necessary, thoroughly explain your options and then leave the decision with you - where it belongs.
